Everything To Know About QQ

A lot of people around the world are familiar with the ins and outs of poker but many people don’t realize there are actually a lot of different variations to the game that are not quite as well-renowned. One of the lesser-known variants is that of Domino QQ or bandar domino qiu qiu. While it’s not that big in the states, it’s actually one of the most popular games in Indonesia. If you’re looking to learn how to play, it may take you a while to get a grip on the rules of the game but, once you do, you’ll never want to stop playing. So let’s discuss how to play.

Gameplay and Rules

You start out with 28 dominos, all of which are double six. Unlike in the states, however, the dominos are actually playing cards that are smaller than normal. Typically, each player is required to bet a minimum amount but it depends on the circumstances. Once everyone has finished betting, they each receive three new cards. After everyone has looked at their cards, each player will have four options. If nobody else has bet, you can place a bet of your own. However, if someone already has, you can either call, raise or fold. There are multiple rounds in the game and, if only one person places a bet in the first round, they get the pot regardless of their hand. In fact, they don’t even have to show their hand.

However, if more than one person has bet, those who haven’t folded each receive a card to duel each other in the final round. Once the final round has concluded, each player is then required to show their hands and whoever has the best hand takes the pot for themselves.

Knowing Your Score

Pips are the dots you find on dominos. During the game, they pair up your cards, add up the number of pips you have and take the second digit to get your final score. For example, if your final score is 24, that would mean your score is just 4. As such, the highest possible score is 9 as it can only be a single-digit score. The only three scores that can beat that are a double, a low and a high. A double is 4 dominos with doubles, a low is a total of 4 dominos that equal a 9 or below and a high is a total of 4 that equal 38 or below. One other hand that can beat it is known as a straight. This is when you have 4 consecutive pips (such as 5,6,7 and 8). If two people both have a straight or double, the person with the higher score wins. Additionally, if you have 3 doubles, it’s referred to as a kid.

Conclusion

So, as you can see, it may take a while to get the hang of the game but, once you do, it’s sure to be endless fun for you and everyone else. So we wish you the best of luck in future games.
